The PGA Professional Coaching Team at Royal Melbourne provide a holistic approach to learning golfer. They understand that every golfer and swings are different, so each lesson is tailored to the student’s needs, by focusing on the four facets of the game, Technical, Tactical, Mental and Physical to be able to help achieve their golfing goals.
Individual Tuition
Golfers of all abilities can benefit from individual tuition with our highly qualified PGA Professionals. We have had many years’ experience coaching golfers from juniors, beginners and professionals.
- Tuition is available in 30-, 60- and 90-minute time blocks
- All tuition is provided by fully qualified PGA Professionals
- 7 days a week availability
- 2 state of the art teaching studios with trackman and high speed cameras
- Lessons are available in all aspects of the game – Full swing, pitching, chipping, bunkers and putting
- Non-Members are very welcome
Group Tuition
Learning golf in a group can be more relaxing
- Tuition is conducted in 60- and 90-minute time blocks
- Groups from 2 to 4 students
- All tuition is provided by fully qualified PGA Professionals
- 7 days a week availability for tuition
- 2 state of the art teaching studios with trackman and high speed camera
- Lessons are available in all aspects of the game – Full swing, pitching, chipping, bunkers and putting
- Non-Members are very welcome
On-course Tuition
Learning the swing is one thing, but knowing how to play your best golf on the course is a must for shooting your best scores and lowering your handicap
- Tuition is conducted in 2-hour time blocks
- Groups from 2 to 4 students
- All tuition is provided by fully qualified PGA Professionals
- Lessons are available in all aspects of the game – Shot shaping, different situation, mental focus
- Non-Members are very welcome

Junior Golf
The Royal Melbourne Golf Club prides itself on being very proactive in the development of junior golf. Their aim to encourage juniors to take up the game of golf through their junior programme and help develop their skills at playing the game as well as learning life lessons through golf.
